|Early morning 1st alarm house fire in Hummelstown|

This morning just prior to 04:00, Engine 91-5 was dispatched to North Walnut St in Hummelstown for a possible house fire. Chief 46-2 arrived on scene finding a working fire and struck the 1st alarm. This brought additional units including Rescue 91-5. The engine arrived with a crew of 3 and picked up a secondary hydrant. Crews from the engine assisted laddering the building, fire attack, salvage, and overhaul. The rescue arrived shortly after with a crew of 2 and assisted the engine crew with ventilation and overhaul. Crews from Rutherford operated on the scene for roughly 1.5 hours before returning available.
